AUTUMN AGAIN
MISCELLANEOUS

Sonntag, Oktober 17th, 2010

Days are getting darker and colder again. It’s freezing on the bike! The chilly air is stinging my lungs in the morning. I need to get some long johns I guess (for my legs obviously). Some photos from my phone meanwhile:

1 / The Shard at London Bridge. Once finished (2012?) it is supposed to be Europe’s tallest building.

2 / Miles, the cute pug from next door, sunbathing in our studio.

3 / Last week was book week! We went to two events in the Russian Club in Dalston and saw a great variety of beautiful books.

4 / Someone forgot this toilet near Hither Green train station. (Or is it for dogs? Miles?)

5 / View from the studio.

DAY OF THE SHOE 2010
TAG DES SCHUHS 2010

Freitag, Oktober 15th, 2010

The Day of the Shoe 2010 is certainly a rather insignificant event for mankind. Brief reminder: It all started with the first post on this little blog on 15 Oct 2007. For some reason I got quite a few photos where I just captured my shoes in different situations – just like the image in my first post. Therefore this day has been declared as “The Day of the Shoe”, now being marked for the 3rd time.

THANK YOU, UNICORN!
WAY TO SUCCESS

Samstag, Oktober 2nd, 2010

It’s been a while since I have started this blog. The Day of the Shoe is approaching again (15 Oct). But that is not the actual reason for this post. The hit rate of last month made me writing this. 6.229 clicks / 6.38% of all hits over the last 3 years occured within the last month.

Remarkably the no.1 term that has been googled and led to my website was/is “unicorn”. No idea how that happened, but I like it. However there are far more curious sites that referred to my blog – such as www.way-to-success.com which makes me really proud, indeed.

Many thanks to you, my loyal followers, and special thanks to all the annoying yet entertaining spambots that made this number possible!
