This week is very busy. Finalizing a big project, getting the “beer quest” started and strict calculating my expense to make it ’til next month. Hope to post some nice pictures of my short but wonderful trip to Paris asap.
The proof that not every Italian is as narrow-minded and retarded as their President was given by “il manifesto”. Obama’s triumph has been all in all no real surprise to me. The actual excitement occured in the aftermath of the US elections with Berlusconi’s statements about Obama, who described him as “young, handsome and even tanned”.
The Italian newspaper “Manifesto” knew the right answer and published a smart comment on that. “Faccetta” means little face, “nera” is black. “Faccetta nera” was a marching song from the Italian fascist period. (found on tagesschau.de)
